Sound is becoming one of the few digital medias that has advance news and reports, as well as video. I believe that these two types of ways we get our media is changing the way we view news and events that transpire all around the world. Sound is able to let us hear so that we can vision ourselves like we are there than read about it in the newspaper. From the audio clips I heard about events, I literally could feel the screaming and explosions that people, who have been at the incident, experienced themselves. Video enhances sound because instead of imagining what is happening based of the audio, we can see it transpire. I for one believe that video should replace news media outlets once print doesn’t exist anymore, which I believe won’t happen for a while. This what Pavlik is saying when he addresses the sound and video of the digital age. It allows us to experience events, incidents and accidents even though we are no where near the area.
