The idea of medical information in mobile health-care communication systems is very interesting and very much unknown. A lot of physician now a day enter and access HIPPA protected patient information via mobile devices and laptops. These devices do open a portal and a window to the hospital based Pacs. Pacs stands for Picture archiving and communication system. Pacs According to connectingforhealth is “a medical imaging technology which provides economical storage of, and convenient access to, images from multiple modalities (source machine types). Electronic images and reports are transmitted digitally via PACS; this eliminates the need to manually file, retrieve, or transport film jackets. The universal format for PACS image storage and transfer is DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine)”.Pacs allows various users such as physicians and other health care employees that have permission to enter this system to log on via any device that had the world wide web connection available .This increases the risk of loss of information by the misuse of the of the users. These devices are not safe from security breaches because they are personal private devices and not hospital based electronic devices that have a much more heavy security guards put forward.
