Welcome to my dental hygiene E-portfolio!
Hello, my name is Kelly Zou. I am a prospective dental hygienist, passionate about dental preventative care and patient education. I started working in the dental field in 2020 as a receptionist and dental assistant. I fell in love with dentistry and decided to return to school to pursue a career in dental hygiene. I received my acceptance into the hygiene program in the summer of 2022. I feel incredibly grateful and honored to pursue my passion while being able to provide necessary care to others.
Two years later, I am almost at the finish line. Throughout my time in hygiene school, I have obtained new knowledge and skills which will help set the foundation for me to become a great hygienist. However, I also understand that learning does not stop here. In the future, I look forward to continuing my education as the dental field continues to evolve. I am committed to providing the best hygiene care based on the patient’s’ needs through outstanding work, patient education, trust and encouragement.
I would like to thank my family and friends who have supported me throughout my time in hygiene school whether it has been through their words of encouragement or their willingness to be my patients for the clinic. With their help, I have been able to make my dreams come true.
