Welcome to my dental hygiene E-portfolio!
Hello, my name is Kelly Zou. I am passionate about dental preventative care and patient education. I started working in the dental field in 2020 as a receptionist / dental assistant. I fell in love with dentistry and decided to return to school to pursue dental hygiene. I received my acceptance into the program in the summer of 2022. I feel incredibly grateful and honored to pursue my passion while being able to provide care to others.
Two years later, I am close to the finish line. Throughout my time in hygiene school, I’ve obtained new knowledge and skills which will help propel me to become a great hygienist. However, learning does not stop here. I pride myself in continuing my education to always be up to date as dentistry continues to evolve. I am committed to providing the best hygiene care based on the patient’s needs through patient education, trust and encouragement.
Thank you to my family and friends who supported me through hygiene school whether it was through words of encouragement or showing up to be my patient for the clinic. With their help, I was able to make my dreams come true.
