This week me and my partner finished up the booklet we were working on last week. We had to add more body text to certain pages. We also had to adjust the text size and style. Even the cover page was changed slightly. It was made a darker shade of purple to match the color of the pens that were going to be given out with the booklet. At the end of the day everything came together nicely.

One of the perks of this internship is that I get to meet many different leaders of other volunteer organizations when they come by. This past Saturday a man who leads a volunteer organization in Oregon was there. He told me and my coworkers about some of the problems that people in Oregon face. He also told us some of the things that his organization was doing to help them. I feel happy whenever I hear about people helping others in their community.
