Hello, my name is Janeth. I was born and raised in the Philippines. English is my third language. Food and culture fascinate me the most. I always love to travel new places which help me to embrace the idea of multiculturalism. Hiking is always a part of my travel plans. I like adventures and to stay with the native people in their dwellings, helps me to understand the true essence of life. My unforgettable experience was in Chiang Mai, Thailand where I spent a night in a remote mountain top village. The locals were very hospitable. I also visited the Vietnamese refugees in Cambodia who built floating houses on the water. Last year, I did a three day trek through the Peruvian mountains to Machu Picchu. It was an amazing trip. I traveled a lot but still there are many places that I would like to visit. Curiosity fueled my interest, “What’s out there?” and it’s a never ending quest.
