I am continuing and expanding the work started in Prof. Michael Duddy and my ARCH 4710 Urban Design Studio. In this studio, we worked together to investigate and discover the key issues that currently hinder the organic and sustainable development of Downtown Brooklyn. The discoveries in this studio are significant enough that they need to be developed further and disseminated to the local community as a resource for discussion on the future urban development of Downtown Brooklyn. We have incorporated some of these discoveries in the two public symposia that I helped organize in 2014 and 2015: Rethinking Jay Street and Rezoning Downtown Brooklyn.
