Dental hygiene educational goals are to develop knowledge and clinical skills to be competent in providing dental hygiene care, acquire and use the professional dental hygiene skills needed for communication, analysis and clinical excellence, and evolve dental hygiene professional skills to promote humanistic, legal and ethical standards of care. The program consists in two years of preclinical courses, and two years in the clinical phase of the program.
