I think that with the success of WoW, multiple gaming companies have attempted to create a 3d enviroment to not only allow their consumers to play a game but to allow for a whole community and social enviroment that allows for very life like interaction. I would like to bring to your attention the next big thing (I hope…I mean its about time, everyones been asking for it for so long lets hope its not a dud)

The Elder Scrolls is an IP that has been around for a long time, most gamers have played at least on of these games. The game is set in a 3d enviroment that spans the many the lands of tamriel. With each iteration of the Elder Scrolls we found ourselves in a different land, but this enviroment gives us access to all of them, from Morrowind to Hammerfell
when looking at this map we can begin to understand the amount programming that goes into the enviroment. The game is currently taking signups for their beta-testing (which I have signed up for already), and a December 31, 2013 release date.
