FEB 13 Mon/ INTERNSHIP JOURNAL
The first day at the office of image and visual communications at City Tech, I was pretty excited because I heard from my classmate that this internship offers a lot of freedom to explore and practice motion graphics skills. I brought my own laptop with my own subscription of Adobe creative suite as I was told at the interview.
Prof. Vargas showed me the office and introduced me to the other intern who will be working closely with me in terms of promo video production. We also had a meeting with all interns.
After Prof. Vargas explained to me that I would be helping him design promotional videos for City Tech, he gave me City Tech brand guidelines with font families, showed me what other former interns designed, and told me to design and explore motion graphics with the logo and slogans so he can add that to the library.
So I made intro animation for City tech watching tutorials, and got a mock up video from Co-intern who is a Video shooter/Editor.
