We as a world haven’t all together felt peace in hundreds of years, and what we see coming out of Ukraine is a wake up to the horrors of war that have been felt by someone out there every day. It extends beyond declarations of war and military action, it touches every minute of everyday life. Even if government officially declare ends to a war, those who were caught in the middle of it will not be at peace for a long time. Without understanding of one another and particularly those touched by war, there won’t be peace.

Peace is what we all need so we can live our lives to the fullest. Without peace we can’t enjoy something great because we will be worried about other things. For instance, the war in Ukraine has caused many families to worry for their loved ones. They may not be able to sleep in peace knowing that their loved ones could lose their lives at any moment. “El tiempo es mi doctor” means time is my doctor. Time is one of the greatest things in our lives and as time passes better things are coming. Hopefully that’s the case with the war and it ends soon so we can all live in peace.

“It is, what it is.” A simple phrase but defines so much. First lets be honest, there is no such thing as peace. Today, peace is just a paper with led or ink on it. We humans are still animals, unpredictable and very greedy animals. With us being animals, a single paper could mean nothing. Through out history this has been defined over and over, death over resources. Showing us that its just the way of life, as the saying is, it is what it is. In other words, it goes on and on. Outside the box, Putin is seen as a monster, a traitor and a villain, for attacking and braking ”peace” with its neighbors. But in the box, it was a smart decision. Ukraine was once apart of Russia, and regaining it would mean more land and resources. The world has gotten soft, and Putin just took advantage of it, there is no right and wrong in these situations, but at the end if the day, “it is, what it is”.

Peace is what the world is in need of so the people can live health serene lives. Having said that it’s sad that it seems when ever peace starts to become a real possibility something new always seems to happen. The current situation in Ukraine is a reminder of how quickly peace can be destroyed and replaced with fear, anger and all kinds of negative emotions. The very existence of war means peace can not exist and the idea that war could bring about peace is false. There is no out come of War where all parties can find peace, not with so much destruction being it’s foundation.
