Hello everyone! My name is Hlawn Aung. I’m currently employed as a Psychiatric Nurse at Harlem Hospital Center.
Being a nurse in general is demanding and challenging career but I enjoy every moment of it because it genuinely makes me feel happy especially when I walk into a unit and patients tell me, “I’m so glad you are scheduled to work today.”
I’m currently enrolled in CUNY City Tech BSN program and expecting to graduate in September of 2016. My hobbies include swimming, exercising and traveling. After I’ve gained enough hospital setting experience, I plan to travel and work as a traveling nurse. I also plan to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner as my future career goal.
