For my unit two research project, I learned a lot about Mansa Musa, the richest person and ruler to ever live. Before going diving deeper into this research topic I already had some background on who Mansa Musa was. But I also learned so many news things, a lot of which actually surprised me. The Most important thing I learned in Unit 2 was Mansa Musa’s impact on the muslim religion in his empire . The Audience I am trying to reach is young Muslim girls and boys around my age and younger, because I want to teach them about some of the impacts Mansa Musa had on the islamic religion in his empire, and how he was on of the first emperors in his kingdom to build mosques and push for islamic education. The genre I am planning to write in is I want to either create a comic or make a tiktok video because I believe it will be more engaging to any specific audience since kids my age and younger are more engaged when they are watching something compared to reading it or reading something that has a lot of fun pictures and illustrations. How I plan on getting started is making a decision on wether I want to make a TikTok or a comic, this all will depend on how much time I have to do this project and how I manage my time. I am really only worried about moving at a good pace and being able to get everything that I need to get done for this project on time.
