The most significant lesson I took away from my unit 2 research was the impact that social habits and actions have on a nation. Our society is what makes a country, and we should be conscious of the significance of our influence on society and how it can significantly affect our country. Teenagers who are moving into adulthood and who are on the verge of bringing about a huge change in our society are the target audience I am writing for. I decided to give a graduation speech because I felt that a nice, concise speech would be appropriate for both the occasion and the message I am attempting to convey. As students graduate and move on in life, it is the ideal time to give the speech. I want to think of and investigate the problems with our society and how we as a people continue to magnify those problems. I then want to provide my research to support my argument and then give a broad overview of the significance of the new generation and its influence. Given that I have never written in this particular genre previously, I think arranging this speech and engaging the audience will be difficult.
