Grenada

Grenada is an Island, and a commonwealth that is form by six smaller islands and Grenada himself. Is located at northeast of Venezuela, and southwest of Saint Vincents and the Grenadines. The official language of this country is English but the main spoken language is either of English-based Creole languages (Grenadian Creole English) which reflects the Indian, African, and European heritage of the nation

In Grenada as many other countries they make wills and have probate courts. In Grenada, the main gifts of inheritance that are given are devices or gifts of real property (Land), which are generally passed along the males in the family. The reason why the man is the one who inherited is because they still believed that the man has to have the control power of everything in addition to this they believe that women has to be taken care of by their husbands  in others words the man benefits most from an inheritance. Transfers of real property as gifts (Devices) are subject to property transfer tax. The tax is imposed on the value of the property that exceeds the threshold amount. The properties transfer tax rates for donors are 5% for citizens and 15% for foreigners.
