Research for Color Wheel:

Still need to resolve the green squares looking too similar to each other

I had fun mixing the paints and learning the best way to blend colors. I was previously using an ineffective method of mixing colors like blue and yellow to get green. It was challenging to get certain colors bc the proportion of color mixing was hard at first.

The final work for my complementary palette

Painting the middle portion was a challenge. I had to really find the right color ratios and achieve a good blend before adding just the right amounts of primary colors to get my preferred color. This took a lot of effort

Develop & Deliver:

My strongest color was analogous and triad. I really enjoyed the center shade on my triad palette because it reminds me of the orange creamsicle popsicles I loved as a kid. The color mixing was so hard because the paint was drying quicker than I was painting and the stroke lines were pretty defined. I did enjoy painting this much and liked to learn how to add small amount of dark colors like blue to larger amounts of a lighter color like yellow to make varying shades of green.
