Color Palettes

For this project we were first tasked with create a near accurate color. To start of the wheel we first painted in our primary colors (Red, Yellow, Blue). After doing this we would then integrate these colors to develop our secondary (Purple, Orange and Green) and our tertiary colors which are just measured mixtures of colors. After completing the wheel, we researched monochromatic, analogous, triad, complimentary and split complimentary palettes and chose our own versions to paint.

The project was interesting in terms of doing the different palettes however, the difficulty for me came when trying to paint in the boxes and creating solid strokes. To fix the problem I could’ve added water to the paint to make more of a solid look and to keep it neat just do small, controlled strokes.
