The topics I chose for this assignment were history and films. These two topics drive my curiosity. I chose to represent films with a standard camera and an abstract brain wrapped with film roll. For history, I decided to represent the topic with a scroll to represent the stories from ancient times that drive my interests in history. For the ambiguous history piece I decided to go with a Greek soldier helmet that has the brush part replaced with a colosseum to represent the Greek/Roman empires which are one of my favorite civilizations to read about.

Above is my final sketch. It was difficult to get through as the ink made it hard to get small details to register properly.

Above I have attached my rough sketches. From the beginning I knew what I wanted to do so I honestly did not spend too much time sketching. Overall this was an interesting project and I learned how to experiment with positive and negative shapes.
