Shallow DOF

IMG_0916

This photograph was my best example of Shallow Depth of Field. It shows the distance between the nearest and the farthest objects in the scene. The focus is on the flower so it appears sharper and the background is unfocused so it is blurred which makes it Shallow Depth of Field. The way to get this is to focus on one thing so that the background goes out of focus.

Lovely photo! there are three factors that help the photographer control depth of field-aperture value, focal length, and distance or proximity to the subject.
