Journal#3 My work place

In the past, I interned both in person and (during the pandemic) online and I admit that the in-person experience is more valuable than interning online. However, taking 5 classes and being my last semester the only way to have enough time to work on all my assignments and dedicate 8 hours per week to interning is by doing it online. Since the beginning, I communicated my availability to work on Mondays and Thursdays. In the past 5 weeks, Prof Goldfeld and I communicated mostly by email and we meet on zoom once (sometimes twice) per week based on deadlines or possible difficulties I might encounter while working on some projects. The zoom meeting time changes according to Prof Goldfeld availability, but I usually wake up at 8,30 am and then I am at my desk by 9am until 1pm. Most of the time I conduct research and sketch about the project during the weekend and then I work on the design during weekdays. So far I had the fortune of working on the logo for one of Prof Goldfeld ‘s client and I was asked to design possible ideas for the entrance of an exhibition.
