For my course Science Fiction, the professor had an interesting idea for a final project, to write an episode of Black Mirror, an anthology series exploring a twisted, high-tech world where humanity’s greatest innovations and darkest instincts collide. After coming up with over twenty ideas, this was the story that won out. A story of an AI that slowly begins to take over the life of its owner, inspired by our increased reliance on AI to take of our daily needs.
