In my Writing with New Media course, we had been tasked to write a short think piece and adapt it to other mediums. These included a video, podcast, website, twitter rant, and a photo essay. Given free rein on the topic, I had chosen to discus an issue that had been plaguing content creators on YouTube. (Which has only gotten worse over the years…) Each medium brought with it their own sets of affordances and constraints that one had to be mindful of and work with to ensure the message would get across.
