Course Description
An advanced course that continues to develop the ability to capture, color correct, adjust tonal levels and curves and retouch bitmapped images. Students learn how digital cameras and high-end scanners capture images and how to provide optimized files. Students are exposed to professional techniques for making corrections and altering pictures to match a clientβs instructions, using software such as Adobe Photoshop. Introduction to professional photography database and processing software such as Adobe Lightroom, and Adobe CameraRaw. For students planning to continue for the Bachelor of Technology degree.

For the successful completion of this course, students should be able to:
β’ Define and clarify terminology, concepts, and applications for photo compositing.
β’ Identify and determine critical comparisons among various pages and publication manufacturing methodologies.
β’ Describe the underlying principles and concepts that are essential for managing impositions, plates, and proofs.
β’ Reflect learning from engaging challenging resource material that a student will interpret appropriately and accurately in his/her own words.
