Projects

  • Roboquin

“Robotic Mannequin” is made of very low-cost materials such as raspberry pi, Arduino, aluminum, and cardboard 3D body. The goal is that the fashion industry of US can have low cost robot which can talk to customers and move its arm. Our team from NYCCT went to IEEE MIT URT Conference 2016 for the poster presentation and lightning talk. Our team also participated CUNY NYCCT 2017 First Annual Experiential Learning Symposium and Competition organized by National Science Foundation (NSF), Electronics Technicians Association (ETA), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), NYCCT, and IEEE, CUNY LaGuardia Community College Computer Science Undergraduate Research Colloquium 2017 organized by IEEE and IEEE MIT URT Conference 2017 for the poster presentation: Simulation of Robotic Arm and lightning talk: Roboquin Speech Synthesis & recognition.

  • Comparative study of Data Security Protocols for the Internet of Things, Spring 2015

A group project where the Internet of Things (IoT) is the network of physical objects or “things” embedded with electronics, software, sensors and connectivity to enable it to achieve greater value and service by exchanging data with the manufacturer, operator and/or other connected devices. In order to send safe data to the right person, we used code instead of brief description. We went to ASEE 2015 Northeast Section conference, Northeastern University for our project presentation.

  • NY Tramway, Spring 2014

Some places do not have enough transportation. We can use tramway to solve this problem. Our group project was an example of it. My teammate and I used Arduino & C++ programming to run our project. The purpose was to avoid traffic jam.
