I found ” A Sound of Thunder” to be a interesting story because of the different perspectives that are shown between several characters.  The idea of time travel, which plays a major role in the story, helps display the different agendas of the important characters clearly.  Travis wants to hunt dinosaur, but he took every precaution necessary so that the present wouldn’t be altered.  He made very precise points to Eckels explaining how the food chain can be affected stating that just by killing one rat can destroy their species which will disturb the next animal that feeds off of it. Eckels was just eager to hunt and didn’t care much about the circumstances which shows me how close minded he was throughout the story.  People all around us have differences in how they view the world and this story drew that vivid picture for me.
