The annotations assignment, even though I wasn’t able to submit it. It helped me to highlight important information from the reading and identify key points.
In regards to the instructional manual, I’m trying to have fun with it and doing it about how to install a motorcycle fender eliminator (undertail kit) since I did it before to my motorcycle and there are no specific instructions available because it is a customized modification.

So far what I’ve been learning how to write while trying to an audience in mind. Usually when I write something it is with the express goal of getting it done. I do not think about who is going to read it and I never think about the overall experience of reading my own work. So with the last assignment I have trying to write while keeping an audience in mind. This an important skill to have when getting in to the work force and being able to communicate via the 1,001 ways to communicate that can currently be used in the work place.

This week is midterm week, I’ve already taken a midterm on Systems Analysis and Design. I also have another one tomorrow on Java database designing. So far in my instruction, manual I’m almost done with it, I just need to add a few more steps to wrap it up. After that I’m going to read through it a hundred times to see what more can I add, or perhaps clarify on something that a read might think is unclear

I finally picked a topic for my manual. I am going to talk about how to set up the building  for an event at Webster hall. I known for a fact it never been done before an am exited about it. there is a lot of variables to account for and hopefully I would be able to cover them.

The due date for the instruction manual is approaching and I have not started yet. I originally had the idea of giving instructions for the zenmap program but that may be too close to breaking the rules of the assignment. I am now thinking about doing ransomware removal from a computer but that is a long winded task to pull off just to get screenshots for the assignment so that is why I have been holding off on starting. This assignment is much harder than I thought.

So far the only thing i am concerned about today is my CST 2307 exam. As for the instructional manual i honestly have not started but understand the format i will use to make it. After today my attention will go fully on the instructional manual meaning i will take the pictures necessary for it and start writing the first draft.

The checklist was very interesting article what I learned from it is how checklists have changed the the procedures of intensive care in certain medical areas. By using checklists nurses and doctors can make sure that all the steps are followed in to prevent or reduce infections and other possible complications. Also, according to the article some researches show that hospitals that do not use checklists during surgeries procedures and when taking care of patients have higher risks of infections and complications.

While reading the Checklist, what caught my attention is how medicine have evolved throughout the human history. Nowadays, Many serious injuries and diseases can be treaty as compared to older times. Also, the Checklist highlights the importance of doing things through a step to step fashion and why medical procedures are done in very specific way. As a matter of fact, in this article, it is evident that following through a specific list, it can lead to save life. On the other hand, if things are not followed correctly, it can lead to a tragedy.

In this article there are few examples that tell one story; if everything is done right, it could be a life savior, literally. And this is made possible by following precise steps. In the example of the Austrian girl, there were many, many steps that everyone took to bring her from the ‘dead’. And everyone starting from her parents till she got to the emergency room did that job perfectly. So, in conclusion, when a job is done following a precise checklist, everything goes smoothly.

I was shocked with some of the patient stories from the checklist. I had no idea that such things were possible. I also never realized how important a list can be to saving a patient.
