Diane’s Painting

I really enjoyed this project because it allowed me to learn a lot more about colors. For example, I learned about new color palettes such as primary, secondary, complementary, and analogous. I also learned about shade, hue, and tint. The biggest challenge I faced during this project was painting. When I mixed colors to create a specific color the result was not always what I wanted. I had to create a lot of mixes to get the color I want. Either it was too dark or too light. For the monochromatic part, it was very hard because you could only use two colors which made the options very limited. For example, for the dark values, I couldn’t create a lot of colors because the mixes I tested were mostly too light to stay on the dark side.
