Taking an overall look into my experience in the baccalaureate program at city tech, I’ve grown as a nurse, little by litter, every day. I have developed certain skills such as patient advocacy, critical thinking as well as communication skills I didn’t know I had. I was granted the opportunity to start my first nursing job while matriculating through the bachelor’s program at city tech. Although it was tough to balance the trenches of work, school, and everyday life, I was able to integrate the tools and skills learned at school into my nursing practice.
