During my first few weeks, I dove into understanding the world of rideshare and tech culture. It was vital to understand the consumers which included both the riders and the drivers. My research skills that I learned from my ux/ui design class my spring semester were crucial in helping me build personas and journey maps.
My day to day work included research, designing, and getting feedback from Dan. I had a difficult time trying to understand my role and what Dan wanted from me. When he gave me a broad task, I would try to ask insightful questions like “what are your expectations?”, “what are you trying to achieve?”, and “what would this look like for you?” Even after asking all these questions, I left with a cloudier judgment than I had started with. I would then sketch, ideate, and design.
