We took this picture using a slow shutter speed, just enough time to let us to create circular shapes spiraling out from the models hands. Inspiration was grabbed from the anime show “Dragon Ball Z”. Our shutter reached roughly 6 seconds to achieve this light painting technique. We left our ISO to a minimum to avoid grain and put in a high depth of field, the reason for this was to avoid losing focus with all the darkness in the set. The process used started with lighting the subject with a flash, following with a small light after the flash went out.
