Homework:
1. icon: digitize your icon
- Create 3 new variations of your icon 5 inch icon
Refine until your icon fits this criteria:
****you will probably need to redraw several times to fit this criteria
A. The image is the color of the background
If your letter is black, your background and all of your image is white.
Or, reverse the colors.
B. The icon uses the counter-form of the letter and does not add to the letter.
Each shape/form is vital to your composition.
C. Your square image uses form only, NO line and has a 1-point outline.
D. Your image is square, asymmetrical and not centered.
2. Save as a jpg or make a screen shot
3. Create another variation and save.
4. Continue to refine you have 3 variations that fit the A-D criteria above.
5. Print and bring to class
****If you did not complete last weeks assignment, please add the checklist, at the bottom of this page, to each of your images.
Print your 3 sketches. With pencil, add a check for each criteria (A-D) to each page
If your icon does not fit ANY of the criteria, go back and revise.
