I find it interesting that typography was developed from stone and ink. It shows that evolution in text and art is infinite.
one fact you found most interesting was the goodenburg press was the first book that was printed. the reason why its interesting to me because it leaded to newspapers and different kinds of advertisements and media we have today
I find it interesting that there was a font that was invented specifically for the internet. In everyday life I never stopped to consider the origins of the fonts that are offered in document editing and etc.
I find it interesting how the printing press had spread through Europe and eventually Venice. It’s also interesting how the engravers during the Renaissance were inspired by roman texts while creating their fonts, and as time went on— other engravers improved their techniques.
