Make Your (Book)Mark!

Greetings from Strand Book Store. This summer, we’re celebrating 90 years of being in business. As part of the celebration, we are asking local designers to get inspired and tell their story by creating a one-of-a-kind bookmark artwork. We’re looking for designs that are fresh and original that embrace the NYC indie bookstore vibe. Entries will be reviewed by design icons Adam J. Kurtz, Paula Scher, and Sunra Thompson, and a winner will be announced in May. The winning design will be printed, shared, posted, tagged, and generally adored all over the Strand!

Submit an original bookmark design for a chance to have your bookmark featured in-store! The contest will be judged by design icons Adam J. Kurtz, Paula Scher, and Sunra Thompson.

Submissions must be 2″x6.5″ with a .25″ bleed at 300dpi. If you use the template provided, make sure that the lines aren’t visible in your final submission. Be sure to read the contest’s terms and conditions here.
