Classroom research

Note: This is an archived post of a page created by Prof. Montgomery in 2016.

The classroom is a critical environment for learning, engagement, and participation. Many factors need to be in reasonable balance to establish a conducive learning environment. These factors include light, ventilation, sound, layout, temperature among others.

The goal of this investigation is to provide links to the latest research on classroom environments, provide examples of best practices, and foster discussion in our college community on classroom environments.
