I wasn’t too happy with these studies. Cutting out the shapes and then pasting it onto another sheet of bristol makes me feel like it looks messy. But other than that this was good.

Chromatic Gray Study
I liked my designs that I created for the chromatic gray study. Painting it was a little difficult but I managed.
Color Wheel Study
I am really pleased with how my color wheel came out. I wouldn’t want to do this over again.
Narrow Range Digital Collage
The digital collage was also hard to do. To memorize which piece were the ones I used when I created this was very difficult.

This was a little difficult to paint. To get the same exact design and in the same color was very difficult. But over all I am happy with the end result.

I really don ‘t like the first one. It just doesn’t look like anything to me. Although for the second one, It actually looks like a tornado happening.

Art Gallery
This had to be the best piece in the art gallery. This was my first day interacting with everyone. So I’m pretty happy about that.
Value Scale
Painting the value scale was very difficult. It was difficult to get the exact color I needed in between black and white.

Assignment# 4 Swiss Style Band Poster
This poster was created using Illustrator. I was familiar using illustrator so I had a sense of what I was doing even If was a little rusty. I only used this program once or twice when I was studying to major in architecture so It was a bit of challenge. After a while I got use to it.
Assignment# 2 Staccato/ Legato Gif/mashup animation
1. Guilty all the same- Linkin Park ft. Rakim
2. Turn into earth- The Yardbirds
I actually enjoyed this part of the assignment I put a lot of focus in the mashup using popcorn maker. As for the animated gif I used photoshop… that was difficult to create the gif without making so many mistakes. Figuring out how the music should be set within 30 seconds wasn’t that much of a challenge… picking the certain parts were. The songs I use were “Guilty all the same” by Linkin Park and “Turn to earth” by The Yardbirds.
