In my honest opinion, I believe it is great that people take pictures using devices such as camera phones. This clearly shows another form of expressing an image, mainly to those who have not seen the image or for those want the image for personal proof. The Venice Biennale is a great place to capture images because there are images from all over the world, most that are new to the people and capturing such magnificent images gives the so called “photographer” a memory can last forever. If one cannot own original fine art, then I highly belive in taking pictures using camera phones and other camera type devices.

I totally agree with what Boris said. It’s great that people are taking pictures with camera phones. Now in today society everyone wants a camera that’s small and compact which will be easy to carry around. Not everyone can afford or want to carry around a state of the art camera. But most likely everyone has a smart phone, in most if not all smart phone have decent amount of pixel and a app that could enhance the photo. With a click of a button you could easily via MMS it to your friends or family members as well. Taking pictures with your phone is the new meta.
I certainly agree with everything previously mentioned. Taking pictures is not only great but also fun, educational and memorable. As has been mentioned above its “another form of expressing an image”. But I would even say it has become a tradition. Even 150 years ago, when photography was only developing, people already use photographs to create a guide books, as well as sharing pictures with friends and relatives. One can inspire another person to go visit places he had never heard or dream of.
I have to agree with everyone. Its great that people are using their camera phones to take pictures. One dose’nt have to have a expensive camera to take a good quality or thoughtful photo. In todays society people are using many different apps such as instagram and lightbox to share their photos with other people. People can influence each other to take pictures with what ever it maybe, a camera or a camera phone.
Photography is just like art and I completely agree with the art critic Roberta Smith. Using cameras as a relationship to art is a great thing because cameras has special qualities built in to focus exactly what you want to take a picture of. With cameras, you are able to capture things you want to remember. Without cameras, you have to either try to remember what you saw mentally or sketch it. I believe that taking pictures of pictures can send a different message, thus it can tell a story that was never mentioned before. Also, people take pictures of pictures or art to publish their own style of photography.
It is a yes for me I total believe in using different resources and using a camera is a very awesome resource . When it comes down to art and photography it not one thing or just one style. There are different styles and so also so many different ways of taking pictures like taking it with a camera , smart phones, laptops, there are so many other ways of emerging when it comes to taking pictures and new ways to have a diffrent perspectives of photography. and like a said just like a painter draws what he sees so does the photographer . he draws what he seees with his camera. go roberta smith.
