Nurses are the closest member of the health care team to patients, as a nurse i believe treating patients how you would want to be treated is key in providing the highest quality of care to patients. As an RN i view my job as an opportunity to take care of someone during the most vulnerable moment in their life, and you can either bring them up, or take them down. Looking at a patient in the hospital as yourself or a family member, having empathy will allow you to care for that sick person in way they’ll never forget.
