Culmination Proposal
I would like to construct a proof of concept of the technology components on a LED Flood light for general interview videos or photography. My budget for this project is going to be 60 to 80 dollars.

The general benefit to my field is low cost construction and low power consumption. LED doesn’t consume that much power and doesn’t over heat. The type of LED that I am going to buy are rated 12 Volts. I assume to use about 6 cubic inches of LED strip light. Also I want to manipulate the light intensity which would allow the user to create soft lights or shadows. In order to achieve this I would require a pulse width modulator that is frequency rated for 10,000 hertz. It might be either battery or outlet power. The types of kelvins are going to be either 4000k or 3000k.

The body of the fixture is going to be based on material research on heat resistance, which will lead to a draft in AutoCAD. I do not intend to build a finished product. Only the technology components are going to be built, not the body of the flood light. Also, during the process, component or the use of application might change depending on research and budget.
My personal goal for this project is to learn to think outside the box. This project will benefit me in learning electrical engineering and different types of materials that are efficient and durable. What I am going to have finished is the lighting component, cad layout, research, and 2d CAD.
