Good job. Your analysis of the Malcolm X portrait is excellent and includes a lot of detail. I also appreciate your careful observation of the placement of tape around the museum, and how this affects interaction. I’m not sure if the tape encourages “connection” however — wouldn’t it do the opposite? Also, you have not really connected the concept of “controversy” with examples of arrangements that materialize the concept. I’m asking for you to think quite abstractly, but you should explore this different way of thinking about designed space more bravely.
