Good work. You articulated your emotional response to the painting of the flag and African American figure very well. Some of your responses are too general. A statement like “Each artwork was placed in its own place to send the artist’s message and to “connect” to the audience” simply can’t be true, with all of the different pieces of art and possible arrangements in the museum. Try to examine designed spaces with a more critical eye.
