I am also very involved in a professional nursing association, Chinese American Nurses Association (CANA). As an organization we participate in community health activities like blood pressure screening, and community fall risk assessment. Most recently, we conducted a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) drive by raising money for healthcare workers providing care for patients battling COVID-19. The PPEs were donated to hospitals and nursing homes throughout New York City.
