This course will cover the codes and standards followed in HVAC system design, installation, and energy management. This course will cover International Standards and adoption of those
standards to state and local levels. Topics include energy auditing, benchmarking, load profiling,
system retrofitting, and energy-efficient design. Generally, this course will cover codes and
standards related to energy management and compliance in a large metropolitan area including New York City. The participants in this course will have opportunity to get LEED, ASHRAE, ENERGY STAR certifications.
