Lots of the composition terms given are terms that I am very familiar with. One of my favorite ways of using composition is the Rule of Thirds. Rule of thirds allows you to displace your attentive subject and place it near to a horizon line letting more of the image flow between section to section. It makes the photo feel like it’s at a broader range compared to just shooting the subject dead center. I mostly enjoy shooting at a wider depth of field so using the Rule of Thirds has it’s advantages in my opinion.
