Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing this letter as a response to your ad that I found on the web, posted on the Indeed website a few days ago. As stated in the ad, I would like to apply as an Electrical Engineer to your company. As an Electrical Engineer completing a Bachelor’s Degree at New York City College Of Technology, I strongly believe my skillset and my strong work ethic can be of great contribution to the well developing company of yours.

Aside from graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, I will soon pursue a State license of professional engineer, which will further my technical and comprehensive skills to better accentuate the needs of your company. Also, I have a large amount of experience using AutoCad Systems, which is crucial to have for a company of your sort.

Having said that, I do realize that your main consideration must be the practical and theoretical skills that an applicant has to offer. I hope that the experience and education described in my resume suggest how I might be of service to your organization.

I welcome the opportunity to discuss how I could help you fulfill your corporate needs. I am available for employment as soon as possible, and can be reached by phone (917) 651-4613, or email Viewavi@msn.com.

Sincerely yours,

Michael Yunatan

Very Good cover letter. Shows great details on what YOU will bring in for their company, you specifically make yourself stand out from any other job applicant. You listed your skills in the field and kills in general. And overall you were very casual YET serious enough. You made sure to include your number/email, and how they can reach you. Very brief and effective enough. I don’t see any negatives for the cover letters. I assume with a lot more drafts, this would be even better then it already is.
