I have a Bachelors degree in Electrical engineering. I am confident that my education has prepared me for the position that is available.
I have a sincere fondness for mathematics, it’s the reason I became an engineer. I have good problem solving skills, a key trait for engineering. I enjoy doing basic arithmetic. I have strong knowledge of AC/DC circuits and at City Tech I had lots of opportunities for hands on experience. In school I had the experience of working with others and providing assistance to those in need. I’m a well rounded individual.

Shehryar Showed a strong appreciation for his field and seems to be knowledgeable in the field of engineering. He comes off confident and ready, reason being that his school prepared him by giving him hands on experience and theoretical understanding of AC/DC circuits, which is definitely a plus when working for a company like ConEd.
One thing to maybe consider is including a call number or an email in both cover letter and resume, to make it easier to contact you. Other than that, it sounds professional and is well written.
