An important point I came across in Donna Haraway’s “Cyborg Manifesto” is the idea of cyborg politics, and that technology can be used to challenge traditional power structures and create a more of a equitable society. She says that the traditional view of technology as a tool of the oppressor should be challenged, and that cyborgs are those who embrace technology as a way of life and can be used to create a more equitable world.
