Hey everybody!
My name is Valery and my pronouns are she/her. I was born and raised in the United States but ethnically I am Mexican. Something I would like to share about me is that I enjoy painting and drawing for fun while listing to music it is very calming and relaxing even though my painting are not that good lol. Another thing that I enjoy is watching the sunset in front of my house it is speechless and something very beautiful in the world. Now some hobbies that I do and use to do was being in a tennis team in high school now I just play for fun with my brother or some friends. I go out for a walk with my family and my dog to get some fresh air at times. My favorite song that I heard recently is thunderstruck by 2cellos this is a classical music and I don’t really listen to that kind but this is just like wow. I haven’t done that much activities since the pandemic started but I would just go out with my family, walk my dog, go bike riding, and stay at home chilling or doing chores. My favorite season is fall because I’ll say it is the best weather out of all the other seasons and besides that it is when my birthday is close in October. This is my first year of college and I am majoring for architecture, the reason why I would like to study that is because I want to do something for the rest of my life that I really enjoy doing which is drawing/sketching and doing math. I am excited to meet new people and start a new phase in my life. So I hope everything goes well!
Some pictures I would like to share is a picture I took of my puppy being playful in the park. He is 5 months now and his name is Kai. He is very meaningful to me because since I was little I always wanted a dog and I thought I would never have one until one day my parents surprised me and my siblings, I am just very happy and great full that I have him in my life because he made our lives even more funner and playful. The second photo is about a art gallery that I went to in mid July. An art by Skyler Grey. This art is about a cartoon called Tom and Jerry the reason why I chose this was because this was a childhood cartoon I loved so much and seeing this remind me when my brother and I use to sit in the couch watching the cartoon with some snacks and hearing him laugh just made me so happy so that brought good memories. And also because I liked the way Skyler Grey combined some graffiti in the art. Both of these photos are just a bit of what is meaningful to me and I am happy to share this with you guys 🙂

Thanks for sharing these joyous images. Maybe on the other side of the pandemic we can have a class reunion and invite important pets as we already have a sizable community represented. I appreciate what you are saying about a cartoon and the context of memory. Let us follow up on this idea when we next convene!
