Devone Francis

My name is Devone Francis and my pronouns would be he/him. I would rather be called Nigel because some people can’t say my first name that well. My first name is Australian. I was born in Brooklyn its home to me I am still a residence of Brooklyn. My academic interests is English has been since middle school. I’m a video editor I love to make edits and I occasionally do live streams on a platform called twitch. Where I usually stream gaming videos or stream from YouTube. I am about 6’4 inches in height and I love anime or reading manga as well as cosplaying. I Love to have conversations especially hearing new topics that I have never heard about before. I’m also looking forward to reading books for this class hopefully anything in particular like the Great Gatsby. This will be my first semester as a college student. I think college is going to be nerve racking at first but I’ll get used to it pretty fast.

A Place that was meaningful to me was the Anime Convention on the west side of Manhattan. This was meaningful to me because my sister went with me to Anime Con and she doesn’t like anime that much, so the fact that she went was a meaningful memory that I will always have. It was also the fact that it was the very first time that I ever went to a convention before.  It was great seeing so many people there experiencing the same amount of thrill and encouragement that I feel when imaging being that one character in a story was awesome.

Brandon Munoz

My name is Brandon Munoz and my pronouns are he/him. I was born on June 15 2001 born and raised in Queens New York, I’m still currently living out here. I’m tryna major in radiology, I’m a night time type of person just love to explore, love to play sports. This is my second year of college starting back fall of 2019 but mentally I wasn’t ready for college I still was able to manage pass one of my classes but hopefully the outcome will be  different this time.

I just wanna say my family is the most meaningful thing in my life I’m the middle child. I have a younger brother and an older sister and I’m beyond grateful to have both my parents alive and well. They mean the World to me always been by my side no matter what situation I was caught up, there my motivators, who always told me to keep pushing no matter how hard life got. So yeah I don’t want to say to much but overall My family is what’s important, meaningful and most importantly means the World to me.

Anthony Puma

My name is Anthony Puma and my pronouns are he/him. I was born on June 30th, 2003 in Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan. At three years old, I moved from Queens to Brooklyn and was mostly raised there since I was a child. I am eighteen years old and still currently living in Brooklyn in the same house with my parents and sisters. My parents are hispanic and they are both from Ecuador in South America which makes me Ecuadorian. I am a college freshman, beginning my first year in CityTech and it feels a bit odd being in college because it feels like it was  yesterday that I was a freshman in high school. Things are sure going at a fast pace for me but besides that, I feel happy that I manage to make it to college and hopefully I can finish college as well as I did for high school.

The image that I provided that is meaningful to me is my little sister and her name is Arianna. She is the youngest out of all my sisters, which I have four sisters in total which makes me the only brother. She is only three years old and will become four years old next year. The reason she is meaningful to me because I mostly taken care of her since she was a small baby when my parents are working or doing something out, which I had to take the responsibility of taking care of her. She could be annoying and a handful as some times but there are times when she made me feel happy when I am feeling down about certain things. I also like knowing the fact that to her, I am her older brother and she will come to me for her problems.
