In this cover letter, I wanted to show how I am qualified for a graphic design job at guitar center. I combined both the knowledge and skills of both of my hobbies, Graphic Design, and Guitars.

This is a made up cover letter that would be sent to the game company Naughty Dog. I specified what I could bring to the job.

short report

This report is aimed at supporting a made up school to create an after school arts program (music, visual, graphic, performing). The goal is to raise money for the program by getting $20 from each percent interested in having their child participate, and from the staff. The perks of being in this program are early enrollment and auditions at LaGuardia High School. Students must have a certain GPA, and they must show that they are willing to be in this program.

Zayd Sanders Informative Message

On this informative message I tried to focus on how the art major in this school has a variety of different paths an artist can take. I have friends that used to go to SVA and they say how the education here is the same for a fraction of the price. This art program has a technical computer design side and a traditional painting and illustration side. I feel like most schools that offer these options are a bit expensive. Here I try to make City Tech seem like the place to go to pursue a diverse art degree without paying for it with an arm and leg.

Portfolio Assignment 1

This letter was written to show interest in Arnold Schwarzenegger’s work for his accomplishments from a boy who grew up in Austria to a bodybuilder superstar. Also this  is to show how someone can achieve anything through hard work.

The idea behind this poster is to show both my artistic interests. One is music and the other is design. I Threw together some of the most successful and popular bands and some of my favorites to put together a guitar shape. First I took a picture of a guitar and traced it on one layer. After I got the outline, I started to place some names. I used the font Avenir because it’s easy to read even if there are dozens of other names cluttered together. The challenging part about this assignment was lining up every single name a certain way so it would fit the outline propperly. I had to separate a few of the names to two or three lines so they could fit the curvature of the guitar.
