Arabic & French

Do you need permission to register for an Arabic or French language course?

Don’t worry, this is only to ensure you are placed in the appropriate level for the language. The process is short and straightforward! Please follow the steps below:

1. Take a brief online placement test:

– French

– Arabic

2. Meet in person or virtually with Prof. Khalid Lachheb for 10 minutes to get the results of your test and receive permission to enroll in a course. Interviews shall only take place BEFORE the semester starts. If you miss the appointment, you will need to reschedule it.

3. After you have received permission to enroll in an Arabic or French course, please go to CUNYfirst and register.
