DISCUSSION

• Discussion: Product Illustration Inspirational Designs
• Stranger & Stranger – Product design inspiration

Review Project 1 – break into critique groups. (groups of 5-8 people)

Everyone in the group will present their ideas for their product illustration to their group in the following manner:

Present the product: Explain the brand and why you chose it. Show your brainstorm, related sketchbook work and explain your ideas. Show your thumbnails. Use instructor and peer feedback to help evaluate your ideas.

Your Art director (aka ME) will float btw the 4 groups and take notes, and make suggestions.  

We need a volunteer note-taker per group so that we don’t forget the valuable suggestions made!

• Discuss appropriate Level of Finish for Concept Sketches

IN CLASS LAB TIME – Work on Concept Sketches, look up reference, etc.
